Knowledge sharing is important in the assistant community- there's so much we can learn from each other!

If you are an assistant/support professional or a fellow blogger that is interested in sharing great tips that our field might benefit from, please don't hesitate to reach out to me! You may do so through my contact page

Here are guidelines to help clarify the process of having an article featured on my website:

*Note: If you are hoping to be interviewed, have created a different type of content (ex: an awesome infographic) or have any other creative ideas, please let me know! I know these guidelines do not apply, so I'm happy to discuss how we can make other ideas happen.

  • Please browse previous articles so you can get an idea of the types of articles that are relevant to my blog. If you would like inspiration, I’m happy to share ideas, so don’t hesitate to reach out!

  • The guest post must be original content that has not been published elsewhere. If you have published a similar article, will be publishing a similar article at a future date, and/or will consider rewording the article to publish elsewhere at any point in time, then please do not submit the article.

  • I reserve the right to determine whether the post is right for my website.

  • Please use Google Docs with editing privileges turned on.

  • Please try to use a minimum of 500 words. However, if your article packs a great punch in less words, I’m flexible!

  • If your article references another source or someone else’s data, please be sure to include that link so I can determine if it needs to be referenced or not.

  • Please include a short bio (around 3-4 sentences). In the bio, if you are interested, include your links (a link to your blog and/or your social media profiles).

  • Please email me your headshot as a separate attachment.

  • I am happy to source images for the post (it can be tricky since they cannot infringe copyright laws). If you have one you would like to use, please email it as an attachment and include the source. I reserve the right to determine if an image is right for my website.

  • Please take the time to carefully proofread your article before submitting it to me. There are many proofreading tools available, such as Grammarly, Ginger and Hemingway App, that can help catch errors.

  • The post will be subject to additional proofreading and editing by me to make sure it is in line with the typical content that is featured.

  • I will send the final draft exactly as it will appear on my website for your approval prior to publishing it.

  • I will let you know exactly when the post will be published before it goes live.

  • I will promote your post across my social media platforms once it goes live as well as on a periodic, ongoing basis.

I'm happy to answer any questions you have.

I look forward to hearing from you!
